Since a long time or probably since childhood when I did regular treks, camps, etc. I wanted to plan and enjoy a long trip on my own………

Piyush, one of my best friend is visiting India after a gap and was going to be around Jaipur in March… So I had plans to visit Jaipur for a couple of days to see him… I thought of adding few more and see Jaipur when I am there… And then finally decided to take this opportunity to plan a Rajasthan trip… So after lots of planning, reading, web-surfing, Google search results, travel-sites, blogs, train timings and managing ‘dates’ of all superstars and megastars of the journey; here is our travel iternery presented as RC 1.

ITERNERY

Friday (20th March): Leave for Agra by- (FOR PUNE friends)

Reach Agra on Saturday Afternoon.

Friday (20th March): Leave for Agra by- (FOR BANGALORE friends)

Reach Sunday morning to Agra.

Saturday: (FOR PUNE friends) Reach Agra on Saturday Afternoon. See Taj Mahal before evening and then rest places in Agra. Halt in Agra.

Sunday: Bangalore friends join Pune friends at Agra in the morning and travel to Fatehpur Sikri. Spend most of the day seeing Fatehpur Sikri. Start for Agra in the afternoon. Take a train to Jaipur. Halt in Jaipur.

Monday: Explore Jaipur for the whole day… A small set of friends including me, will be going to visit a friends place some Ramghad (130 kms) in the afternoon and stay there overnight and return back next day morning to Jaipur. Halt at jaipur for few\Halt at Ramghad for few.

Tuesday: Explore remaining areas of Jaipur. Board the train to Jaisalmer at midnight- Halt in the train.

Wednesday: Reach Jaisalmer at 11:00 in the morning… Arrange for desert safari… See the places, start for overnight desert safari same day… Halt in desert.

Thursday: Desert safari and remaining parts of Jaisalmer. Start for Jodhpur at night to reach Jodhpur early morning. Halt in train.

Friday: Explore Jodhpur in the morning. Start for Udaipur post lunch. Visit Ranakpur in the way, to reach Udaipur for a halt.

Saturday: Explore Udaipur. Travel to Mount Abu in the evening. Halt at Mount Abu.

Sunday: See Mount Abu.  Travel back to Mumbai by-
